Just finished (for the most part) my B-52 swap. This kit was beautiful and made the swap a bit easier than a normal 52" swap. I did have to do a bit of clearancing for my weld on frame repair kit and the B-52 kit to fit but other than that its perfect. I ordered the kit with the 7.25" shackles and love every bit. Thanx Kurt!!!! My cast Ford shock towers showed up today so this will be updated with the progress.
The start...(air hammer really helped with rivots)

First side done, trying to decide on which mounting position.(theres alot)

So my 4" springs sagged a bit through the years lol.
After doing both sides and it settling a bit the shackle angle sucked. Moved everything forward and bingo.

are u using stock 52's or lifted ones? looks good. get some flex pics :)

Are those stock 52's or lifted? Any pics of the shackle angles static position?

Nice lookin truck, btw. :wink1:

So you are using b52s, with 52" 4" lift springs and 7.25" shackles? What approx amount of lift does this provide?

The springs are the original rears out of the blazer(been rinning 56s in the rear for a while). The springs and B-52 kit are mounted all the way forward at this point. The last pic of the shackle is how it is now. Before the springs were about an 1/8" away from the frame. Oh and the H1s are original backspacing.

Wow, that looks really good.:waytogo:

How big are the spacers in the front to run H1's with no backspacing? I run re-centered H1's...was afraid of the big spacers...

Oh yeah duh, I remember now...a much smarter way to go...If I ever bend a rim I am bummed...Thanks, sorry for detracting from the cool B52 thread...

Ya its a DRW D60 and a van width 14ff out back. Its a bit narrower but it doesnt bother me that much. Ive thought of running a HD D70 and running some stupid gears but one thing at a time right. I just got done dropping some coin on some steel for sliders and a drive shaft. So Im happy with it this way for now.
