The 1964 Ford F-100 I was working on

Was there getting married today and no more time
Will again in the future.

Was going to put tail lights in it but ran into wiring from 1969 , like this brake master switch there brittle and if you touch the wires fall apart
So the truck needs re-wiring.

Also when I put trans fluid in it it pored out as fast as I put it so it needs that fixed before anything else can be done.

This is here sons 78 Chevy caprice
Got it running and helped change a leaking power steering hose.

Went to put trans fluid in it and it too ads soon as you pour it in it pours out faster.

Bad luck with there transmissions
But I guess that’s what you get for letting them sit for 4 years on Chevy and 7 on the ford.

Maybe I missed it, who got/getting married? Your relative?

What are the yellow wires on the starter relay doing. Iirc that terminal is coil power by pass, allows battery voltage at coil durning cranking.
Look pretty clean install. Always harder to do this stuff in others peoples shops.

My cousin is getting married and it’s her truck, sorry should have explained better

Guess I’ll have to change it tests as ingition hot for fans

I believe you. I haven't seen one that was hot on that terminal except when cranking.

Where does the red wire go? And is it battery voltage with engine running? Or 7 to 9 volts?
