Since Ive gotten the truck on the road, Ive been driving her daily driver style, and started doing a bit of wheeling with her... This thread will host the updates of the "Adventures of the WarWagon".

I hope you enjoy the thread...
Andrew

Other than the fact that I would like to have my 4 minutes back, I think you may be onto something here. What it is, I don't have a clue and really don't want to know, but I think you can sell it to Hollywood as a new reality series.........:waytogo:

Daum Bubby, its a$$hat comments like that, that make me want to leave the forum. If you didnt like the video, there was no need to even comment!!

nice truck man. wish I'd a went with a military. went gas cause it was flashy and close by. got a pile:confused:. by the way who did that song, that was awsome. never heard it before.

Shady, dont know the name of the song, sorry.

The truck is civilian, not military... it was in bad shape when I got it, so I just made a warwagon out of it. See the link in my sig.

Cant wait for a REAL snow!

oh well i'll ask my kid who it was. I seen that it said diesel and seen the paint. looks good though. I almost bought an actual military with the desert tan paint and a 6.2. wish I had. it was 3 hours from home though.

Heres the filename of the MP3: Bloodsimple - Breaking the Mold (lyrics).mp3

I dont know where I got it from, but it was pretty baddazz.

The 3 hour trip would have been well worth it for a M1009, there "more heavy duty" than the 'equivalent' civilian brother. However, I came across this first and $1,200 was a good deal IMHO, its hard to find a nice DIESEL Blazer. :thumb:

By the way.... we got like 15" of snow so far here in iowa. And my trucks sitting outside with bald tires, running like dookie, bad brakes, and a bad tierod end:confused: this blows:frown1:

No need to go all Emo and take razor blades to your arms over a little criticism. To state that you might leave a forum over someone finding your video somewhat boring and stating as such is definitely over the top nOObish. Not like I said that the video was akin to watching grass grow, at least you had a soundtrack:haha:

I've seen your dirtbike Vids Bubba, you oughta hush now and 'member what your Momma told ya. If ya ain't got nothin nice to say...say nothing.

Andrew isn't on here claiming to be Mr. Hardcore, or the master of all thing mechanical. Mostly having fun and taking a ton of vids. There is a 25 part series he did (full 10 min each) while fixing the rust on his truck. Nothing ground breaking, but I enjoyed them a lot. His narrative made it all worth watching. I just watched these and they're fun enough. What is cooler than goofing around in the snow a little with your kids?

this just feels like it should have been a Garage thread to me...

To be honest, I could find anyplace that seamed better than Lounge... The gallery is just for pictures, theres not a forum just for vids (Hint Rene  )...

If there is a better place to put the thread, seriously, speak up and Ill get a mod to move it.

The GARAGE part is in my sig... Ive still got vids that I have not gotten to post yet, my new job (that pays $hit) has me working 60 hours a week, Im off on shut down week right now so I had time to whip a few together.

Were at 27degF with winds taking temp to 11F right now, 27MPH... its COLD! VA is in a state of emergency, something about up to 12 inches of snow possible in the forecast?!?! I need to get another pair of chain adjusters so I can cable up the front tires if needed...

Ive got SCC Super-Z Chains for the back, and some WalMart generics I used on the front of my Isuzu Rodeo last winter, the same chains fit my 31's, but I lost my adjusters.

I'll keep watching. I think that if your camera is going to be spending that much time looking out the windshield, you should make a bracket that holds it there so you can get a steady shot, but still be able to pick it up and shoot out the windows or outside the truck.
