Hey i just joined and am looking forward to seeing all the projects on here. ive got one of my own and its rather unique. I started with a 1960 International B120 and a 1976 K20 Suburban. The goal was to take the body off the IH and put it on the Chevy frame. Easier said than done! i am now into this project but need some help to figure out how and where to go next. My great friend refered me to this site and has been the brains of my opperation. i will post more pics as i can and track my progress on here. :waytogo:

Way to go:woot:finally got an account, ( and got me registered again) gonna be a fun build

Next steps

After driving the international for a summer i parked it and picked the burb. i cut the bodies off the frames. i have picked up parts as i have been able to find them on discount and have ben able to score big and a few expensive item. I was steered the direction of 37" mickey thompson tires and kmc diesel wheels. i finally had it far enough along to have them mounted a cpouple weeks ago and they are going to look SWEET!!

Lifting

I went with the long leaf kit for the front from DIY4X. Put Pro Comp 52" springs with it. the rear i went with the shackle flip kit from Offroad Design and used Pro Comp 56" springs. I was luck to be working with a almost bare frame. i ended cutting off one of the old springs at the eye, i messed with it for several days using PB Blaster and brute force before i decided to cut.

Work, Work, and more Work

I've finally been able to spend some time and start to get the body mounted, unfortunatly there is a long way to go before its bolted down. I've got the back end centered over the frame and the mounts ready to shim. the international had wider mounts then the sub and I've got to put spacers to fill the gap. And after doing some research and with input from my building buddy I've decided to use a 2X4 700r4 to a Dodge 205 divorced t-case. this will allow me to move the engine forward the 10 inches I needed for the firewall and not leave me with the driveline angle problem. step 2 is now making it happen, work has been busy and with two jobs it makes it hard to find time to get places for supplies and parts. but I'm confident that I will be able to find some time this winter to finish and it'll be even better if we put of our Moab trip until late may.
