Garage Tiki

Is that a California garage gun in the background?

I found that blue sharpie is NOT what you want when plasma cutting.... The line entirely disappears lol. Black isn't much better, but somehow is just a little.

That's where silver shines :waytogo:

Yes & No sir.

this photo was taken in Texas.

it’s the original stock for my Russian SKS-45.

Now it’s in California but not on the wall yet.

I was being smart. Noticed that all the guts were missing. I figured since everyone is skeered of them in the Replubic you just had to point it at them and the problem was solved, including the woodchucks.

I bought it from a gun show back in the 20th Century.
The original stock and bayonet came ala carte.

I’m a bit gun shy about posting gun stuff on the inter webs.
It’s totally legal and boring. Nothing to see here...

I saw two OEM tach dashes like that at the swap meet a few weeks ago, they were priced at $250 B/O...guess they haven't lost any value, even back in the 80's when I had two first generation K5's they were selling for that..my 71 CST had one factory in it--I paid $300 for the truck, was surprised to find out the dash was worth nearly that much alone..

I do find it amusing that people get so excited about paying big bucks for a factory tach that only reads to 5000rpm.

:haha:

Especially when the stock engine will likely fly apart at 4800 rpms or so!..
