Leverage is not the way. What I'm fighting now is these rear wheels. They are stuuuuck like you wouldn't believe. Finally got the passenger rear off after a ton of work, heat, and PB Blaster. Here is what finally gave me the leverage:

That is a 12 foot 4x4 and it barely took it off. I broke one strap doing this. The driver side appears to be even worse. I'm at a loss. I don't know what I can do to get more leverage to get this off. Any ideas?View attachment 537207
This is a good idea. I'll run a thread chaser through these first and try that out. Thanks! Those look to be rally wheels. i had one stuck a while back and used the threaded hole for the center cap to help free them up. if i remember correctly they were threaded 5/16-18 threaded a bolt in and tightened it to help break the wheel free of the drum
I've been hesitant to try this because I'm trying to do a brake job and the other wheels are already off. If the suggestion above doesn't work I think this will be my next attempt.Old timer taught me a trick for stuck dually wheels. Loosen the lug nuts about 1/8" away from the rim and drive in tight circles slowly in both directions. Usually the side load will pop them loose. As long as you have room at the house, you could go to a parking lot and just take a lug wrench with you to loosen and retighten.
Yeah it only works if you are able to drive it and not tore down for other stuff.I've been hesitant to try this because I'm trying to do a brake job and the other wheels are already off. If the suggestion above doesn't work I think this will be my next attempt.
