Sweet looking FJ light bezel !

FJ80's are just impressive - even in stock form .

Tom

Sounds like fun, cant wait to see more pics.

Jeez Michael! Do you and Claudia still work? Seems like you have been wheeling all over the Southwest in the past few months:)

I really like those new Fj's Toyota has come out with. I might try talking the wife into getting one

Nice Shots Michael! Looks like you had a great time.
Thanks for all the detail on the trip.
I'm glad you didn't tell us that the FJ's made widow maker look easy
because I know it's not. Glad to see they tried it though.
We all missed you at EJS but we'll see you at BB I hope.
Love the grill addition :haha: and the new bumper/winch look good.

Great photos. I had a 72 FJ40 that I dropped a 327 into. To this day I kick my self in the ass for selling that thing. It was a tank and couldnt be stopped

Regarding the license plates...My old '88 Porsche came up as some sort of Oldsmobile when I drove through Forest, MS. Either that or the local boys were having some fun with me! Either way I didn't get a ticket for cruising the passing lane (sorry, we don't treat it that way too much down in Austin, TX....just lucky I wasn't speeding at the time!).

Come on out, Great Falls to Moab is pretty much the same distance as Omaha to Moab. I know, because that was one of the first things I checked after having interviewed for a job in Great Falls last summer :D . And the drive ought to be a lot more scenic than the drive thru the plains  .

Strangly enough once you hit the monida pass at the montana Idaho border the drive after that is nearly as mind numbing as going through the plains states.

Man I miss Moab, there is some stuff there that scares the crap out of me. Launching pad and Skyline drive both scare me. Awesome pics thanks for sharing

At 1 gallon/hour on the trails, 11-12mpg on the freeway, this is going to fall in the 'priceless' category...:doah: :D

I have graduated into the "tow the blazer" category and plan on visiting Moab for my first time in Oct. Unfortunately I'll be riding with a friend. I will take the wife there next time after the AF moves us next summer. We're gunning for an assignment to CO, which should bring us a bit closer.
