The Go Fast Smooth Ride Side Video Thread

Heath said he beat that guy i think:eek1::eek1:

No I haven't been there when that guy was there, he looks pretty dam fast he would probably take me. But it would be a fun race, I'd love to try it! The only guy that has beaten me so far was an old 69 shortbed stepside with a 540 big block in it.

Old mufflers always seem to sound so much better. Had an old timer tell me once the first thing they used to do was fill a muffler with some gas to burn out all that crappy insulation in em for better sound :haha:

Flowmasters don't have any filler material, just differenent shaped chambers, it's one of the reasons they sound so good, and don't change with age (unless they rust a hole in them).

I'll have to check out your runs sponsored, I can't view them right now, but I bet they rock.

I hope that guy is back this memorial day. He is so wicked freeking fast. He put down everything that attempted to race him. And he leaves a roost 30 foot high :woot::woot:

The front shocks are Fox and the rears are King. I only mixed brands due to purchasing deals. I will be going all Fox

Silver Lake

Some vids from this past weekend - got to try out the new F-O-A rear shocks. They are 2.5" 18" travel with reservoirs... and they worked pretty well considering the trouble many have had with them.

Nice. Needs more speed in the whoops. I assume you are not running paddles. Seems it needs to get the ponies to the sand better. Still a lot of fun.

I can not wait to run mine at Glamis this year. Haven't been there for 10 years, really miss the dunes.

Yeah, a couple things at play in the vids, I had either my dad riding or my wife and three kids in the back, so wasn't going too nutty... It does smooth out quite a bit with speed though :waytogo:

I brought my paddles along, but didn't end up bolting them up, seems the kids (or wife) don't want to sit still long enough for me to make the swap in the parking lot - boooooo.... paddles rock.

I really miss glamis, used to go 10 times a year when I lived in Palm Desert. Night duning rocks.

right on! congrats on the house, let's go tear it up (not the house) - Bundy Hill is pretty close, dunes are 2.5 hrs, it's a good spot. :thumb:

Yah buddy hill is right next to my buddies house. I do want to make it there this year

This just cracks me up. When I think of going fast off road, I always think of the southwest or Baja. Never really thought to ask if there was anything east of New Mexico-Colorado. When my wife and are out that way next year, I am going to hit you guys up for a meet n greet in your dunes.

I need to stop being so narrow minded.
