now I get to fool around with these things again. If you think a K5 is heavy try putting one os these things on the scale. The armor alone is 4000lbs. Opening the 300lb doors and looking through the aquarium glass is something else.

1/2" and 3/4" of steel to protect the occupants

Not the best on the back but I would feel pretty safe in it.

And one little creature comfort. A/C I see that as the first thing that they take out. Sitting in a steel can tends to make you a little hot.

And just one more of my baby the day before she left.

Man, i love that paint on that blazer.. how long and hard was it? did you rattle can it? The Hummers are way sweet to, you could get t-boned in those bad boys and not feel it..

Total time I had in the paint was around 60 or so hours. Ordered the CARC replacement Zero Rust and rattle canned it using masking tape and alot of time. Started off in the small pattern of digital then after 2 days and not even one fender done well I ended up with the larder as you see. It is no longer mine now so someone else has a SWEET Toy to play with.

As far as the hummer, yeah I am not really worried about getting hit in it right now. Just wish the 6.5 in those suckers had a little more nuts to them. With the added weight they are SUPER SLUGGISH. Maybe they will let me order a turbo for them...........

Whoa wait timeout....you sold it??????????????? Who what why this changes everything.

Yeah well it has been gone for about 2 months now. It went to a fellow member on here so I am sure you will see more of it when he returns from deployment.

There will be another one, well when I get back there will be another one.

you cut those fenders right? what is that black stuff on the fenders that gives it the finished look? i dont really want to cut mine because its my dd and i want it to look finished, but that looks reallly good. thats got me wanting to do it.

If I remember correctly, James had some personal issues that forced the sale of the truck. :(

Yeah I cut a good bit off of the fenders. I was the same way about wanting a finished look so I looked around here and found BidpapaB running THIS . I used the last one which is a blind side mount. I cut the fenders the way I wanted, drilled a few holes and bolted them right up. It also helped with state legality withthe tires/wheels protruding outside of the wheel wells.

Thanks John for stepping in.
