3/4 ton status
Here is how the first 4 hours of the trip was spent by Readymix and I

Didn't even make it 10 ft off of the paved road
. We thought we broke the Tranny but as we took the Tcase apart we found that the Tcase selector "rooster comb" was no longer pressed onto the shaft and allowed the planetary to slip into Neutral. Thanks to K10abroinslo (David) and a weld bead later we got it back together and had no problems with it the rest of the day
. I cant think of a better place to rebuild a Tcase than in the desert with the wind blowin about 20 mph
. A big thanks to Brian and David for the help. Pics will be posted later of the wheelin action as I was driving and did not get any action photos
. Oh ya there are 120 needle bearings (2 rows of 60) that go between the chain gear and the output shaft those are fun when the case is in the truck.
