Well, I doubt he's gonna wheel it. But since by the end of the year the truck will be done with the exception of restoring the bed and tailgate( those will be done by the body shop we work at) He is thinking of starting a new project next year. I am trying to get him to build a trail rig like a chevy framed tube buggy or i said he could have my 79 2wd blazer to convert to 4wd with 4-link, coilovers, big block power, and 2 1/2 ton axles

sweet sweet ride. but i have to ask one question. is the exaust hangers temporary? thay just dont look cool at all on the nice painted exaust system under that beutiful frame.

Yes they are temporary. I plan on going back and disassembling them to paint the metal pieces, and using stainless steel hardware. In case you were wondering that is dual 3 1/2" exhaust that has been ceramic coated. Electric cutouts were added as well. When I fire it up with the exhaust open I scare small children.sweetk30 said:

The center grill had to be custom made because the new radiator interfered with the stock grill. Originally the grill bars were stright up and down.
Inside of fenders are coated in Line-X
Here are some pictures of what the truck looked like when I first got it. Sorry about being blurry, I don't have a scanner so I was taking pictures of some old pictures I had.
Here its is after I put the M-37 body on the suburban frame. It fit 44's with no lift!! Now its got a 4-inch lift to clear the 46's

Oh man, this made my day! First vehicle I ever drove was a '52 M37. It is still sitting out at our lodge rusting to pieces. 
Broke down, and no parts were available. It still has the original flathead in it, and the original 20K (?)pto winch on the front. I wanted to rebuild into a wheeler, but it is just too far gone. Good to see another saved from the ravages of time! Thumbs up to your brother.

Man awesome truly awesome stupendous bravo bravo, my wife saw this and said "Well time for you to find me an M37 and get to work" That is one of the sweetest trucks I have seen in a long time. Kudos to all involved

I took these after he test fit the front bumper. He is still going to add some more to it, but has taken a break on the m-37. He got a house last year so he has done some work to that.
He has started a trail rig project. Once its done it will be an 80s chevy crewcab with: frame chopped after cab with tubular back half, exo cage, tubular front clip. dbl triangulated 4-link rear, 56" springs front. drw 60 front, dana 70HD converted to rear-steer with dana 70 front knuckles. H1 wheels with 42" grooved TSLs. 350 or 454 running on propane, th400, LOMAX np205, 1410s all around. A build thread for that will definitly be made once he gets some real progress done
