up at 5am for work.i was excited about getting my new rear springs on.about 10am i was getting that gut instinct to just do something else.BUT i was determend to get it done. so i stop after work to get the new bolts. i took Gotti with me(the first mistake). i was worried he would jump out of the truck,so in my haste i grabbed 5/8 inch bolts instead of 1/2 inch.i don't realize this until i get JR jacked up and everyting pulled off. so i pack everything back in the garage and go back to the store.OK now i'm ready.PSST the sawsall blades i bought are being burned up as fast as i can change them. mind you my friend was supposed to be over with his torches.but he is MIA.another guy i know just moved one block behind me.he called to go wheelin an hour before i started.well his phone number is not in my phone anymore!!!so i walk over and he is not home.  so i get out my circular saw with the masonary blade.but the blade is now 2 inches.so i call Kane(Goldwing2000) and he is at work, then i call Mike(Supreme70) and he is at a cruise with his supreme70.:haha: arrgg two hours later i call my friend Pat. he is camping.:( the only person i had left was my brother and he ended up going out partying.so i started with this pic and ended up 6 hours later with JR lookin the same way.sorry for th long thread, but i had to bitch to someone that would understand.

at least you did not catch you face on fire..
thats true.but i did feel like burning something to the ground.i think if i borrowed my friends torches i prolly would have caught the truck on fire though.

where and what brand are those springs? ive been looking for a set for my truck for fairly cheap.

BTW, the bolts you need are 9/16" x 4.5" long ;)

yeah I'm with TJ give us some specs on those springs...:)

Sorry about your crappy day...it happens...

Sometimes when you're feelin' down just remember...you swam faster than the other million or so...;)

this is why everyone should own a grinder and equip it with a cutoff wheel. you would have all those u-bolts off in 20 minutes.

I don't have a torch that will cut really thick stuff so I use the grinder a lot. I actually own 2, one has a flap wheel on it the other I swap back and forth with a grinding wheel or a cutting wheel.
