Traded the red 1/2 ton for a non running 3/4 ton on 35s. This one is Jessica's weekend warrior.

The guy took the intake off to replace gaskets than got confused going back together. It's two tone blue with pink pinstripes. Interior is complete, clean but needs a bath. DVD player and overhead console. The uniroyal Laredo spare tire still has nubs on it.
5.7ltr th400/208 with the sf 14 bolt and 10 bolt front.
Couple of dents and dings but all in all its a better starter for what she wants and I get to keep mine trail ready. Hers will be used in the backcountry but not as extreme as the limo.

Future plans so far.
Ff14 and 44 combo
Crossover with hydro assist
New front spring hangers
Ultra duty upper shackle mounts
Front winch bumper w matching rear for spare tire and cans
Monster roof rack.
Lots of led lighting

This is her build and all the decisions will be hers. I'm just the laborer.

nice looking rig...

I had to tarp it in this weekend rain storm. Found out it used to have a roof rack. Didn't even think to look up there when I picked it up. It used to have a full length set up cause there is 8 foot locations on the roof. Also found out that whoever installed the DVD player just drilled through the roof and gooped silicone on the bolts. I'm going to bring home a dehumidifier from work this week. I won't know if the DVD works till I get the inside dry.
While taking an assessment of everything I sprayed fuel everywhere. Than while rigging a hose into a bucket, I found the end of the alternator wire. It wasn't on the alternator. It got a little exciting.

gotta love previous owners...:doah:

I have a spare radiator heater that I put in it yesterday. Try and heat the inside up and dry it out. Took the old tarp off cause it was leaking enough to not do any good. Picked up some damp rid containers also.

We used silicon with pop rivets to seal up the holes on my buddies burb with the roof rack removed. Then over painted the roof with mobile home roof paint. Works well and repels water and sun light nicely.

Silicon and rivets will work great. Than I can drill them out easily when I build the new rack. Thanks for the idea
