How much did you pick that up for? Looks almost ugly enough to put a garbage box on...:p:

$4,000 for it.

been sitting since 2003 on some land here in okotoks. the old man got sick for a long time and recently passed away. the widow wanted to get rid of it. was a furniture hauler/ moving truck. that rack behind the sleeper is for one of those storage cubes. but an easy life as a furniture truck. and has BEARLY made 1000kms since its last CVIP in 2003.

not entirely sure what I'm going to do with it. but we'll see. its not far away from being able to CVIP and put it to work too. its in good shape overall.

the C12 is fine for now but I'd like to repower it with a 14L series 60 at some point as well. maybe an allison 750 or even electronic 755 too. but we'll see, the 13 speed is pretty good.

theres about 8' of room to extend the sleeper into a living quarter sort of. and pull a big trailer. or.......... I dunno. the options are endless right now i guess.

I would stay with a Cat just my 2 cents.. that C12 an 13 speed will do for fine but any major hauling i would get a c15.. I doubt it would fit but if you could find a Buzz'n duzz'n i would put that in... Nothing like a detroit V12:bow:

I run a c15 with a 13 in my Cattle hauler running 105,500 and it does just fine..

I'm a detroit mechanic. work for the big Detroit/Allison dealer here. I'm tooled up for 60 work. i work on 60's every day, and I get parts at cost. kind of a no brainer for me. I can douche a 1000hp out of a DDEC IV 14L 60 pretty easy.

.......and big ugly....... I'll tug of war you for the name. we'll see whos big. :haha:

Need to throw some big step tool boxes on the sides running to the fuel tank and you will set:rolleyes:

its destined to go down like this I think.............. I've even just picked up a set of round headlights out of an early '70s day cab to convert mine from the ugly squares.
