needing the attention and some relpies huh??:p:

ok, my opinion,,,,you'd be better off with pulling the Ford and trailer, WITH the suburban....not like the Ford had a big Diesel in it or anything, and it has a shorter wheelbase than the Burb,,,,going to be interesting pulling around that much weight...especially if you're going with the bumper pull style setup. :wink1:

I don't think he's going to have any problem towing with a 460......But the short wheelbase and bumper you are right.

i used to pull with the burb...it was a dog...slow small block and not enough gearing...for the price i paid for the for it would have cost me a 14 bolt...

a lil here and there but nothing to major...the biggest think is i cleaned out all kinds of trash out of the bed that had prolly been in there for at least 5 years...the bed is toast so im gonna make a flatbed prolly..

its a standard cab longbed...i dont see what the problem is...i know someone who pulls a 35 foot camper which definitly weighs a lot more than my 10k trailer and burb tougher..not saying i would wanna pull a 35 foot bumper pull camper but he has no problem...

Um problems towing with it? Cause of wheelbase? Thats about the dumbest thing ive ever heard:rolleyes: Not to mention its within inches of the burbs wheelbase...

Btw no way they are 4:56's... the thing wouldnt do 60...

Is that one of them F350's with the dreaded TTB front end?
If it still has exhaust manifolds I would check for cracks. I would swap in a 5 speed and 4.56's.........

yes it has one of thoose front ends...not really worried about the 4wd never plan on using it...there is an exhaust leak but i think its missing a piece of the pass side pipe...this rig is gonna be on the cheap to get me buy for a few years...in about a year and a half im gonna sell my house and whenever i move to my new place im gonna use this as a farm truck (plan on buying alot of land)and buy myself a newer truck.

so you have to be an asshat about it and make a comment like that eh??

just about had it with all the trash talkers on this place lately, sounds like alot of you need to learn how to make comments about things without the sh!ttty attitude going along with it...

I simply made an opinionated statement, with the size, and weight of the Burb and trailer combo, i PERSONALLY, don't think it's going to be all that fun driving it with the Ford setup....

i never said it WOULDN'T do it...

sheesh,,,relax people.
