How to make an ugly car even uglier. 
That will flip over even sitting still in some of the high wind gusts we get here...!..unless Prius batteries weigh 1500 lbs or something..
Driving range must be reduced a lot hauling that fiberglass cocoon around and all the other accessories..better camp close to home or a charging station...

Figure out how to economically put a Prius (or other EV) battery into a real RV or camper, coupled with some solar panels if you wanted to be out for awhile without moving, and you'd likely eliminate the need for a generator. Being able to run a microwave and/or coffeepot off the batteries without worry about drain, would be pretty nice.
There's a few full-time RVers on youtube that have used a "section" of an old Tesla battery to power their RVs. From what I've seen it seems to work pretty good.
I saw a Prius at a salvage yard being taken apart a few months ago--I was with someone ,just went for the ride when they picked up a part,so I couldn't hang around and watch the guy remove the battery--he started explaining how its made up of many batteries wired together and its voltage ranges between 200 and 300 volts depending on the age and model of the car...
I looked up the weight of the Prius battery and it states 180 lbs..
They also have a 12V absorbed glass mat battery like a regular car that runs all the 12V stuff..
I never saw a Prius up close or looked at one to see how they are designed...and they have been around since 1997..I'm a slow learner I guess..
