The new Willys?

Quote- "The thing is a jewelry box. It starts at $77,000"

Its neat, but the price tag saiz enough

Honestly, I do not see the point of even thinking of building them with a price tag that high.

A brand new show quality hotrod... maybe. A Jeep look-alike with a 4cylinder and 31's... F NO!

Some dumb a$$ will still by one. Some people have WAY more money than brains

I knew a guy who had one.....living in the most over-hyped neighborhoods in Chicago.....I think it's a status of douchebags.....and wait for them to start snapping their new Icon Broncos for $150K.....:screwy:

I think it is pretty cool. The willys is the only jeep I have ever liked and to get one with the upgraded components ready to go is even better. But for a price tag like that Ill stick with my junky old beaters.

Now if a company were to offer something similar with a much lighter price tag then I might become a jeep owner

Hmm small world. I was watching TV the other night and one of those "How it's made" shows was on and they were showing how "off road vehicles" were built. They never once mentioned what they were building, just followed the major highlights of assembling it. It was the same model pictured above.

I always had a soft spot for the high hood 3B's...and I do see a very quality piece there. However, at $77K I expect something better than a Cavalier engine in it. Even a 5.3 would be great...it's not even that much heavier.

33" MT's would have been a nice touch too.

No person that pays that kind of money for such a vehicle will use it for its intended purpose. It will be transportation for eccentrics and those with more money than sense. For a third of that price, you could build a great trail rig, or restore a nice older jeep/bronco/K5, etc.
