I just missed out on a great truck here in town. The local school district had a 1990 V3500 crew cab dually that blew a motor. DRW dana 60/ 14bolt with th400/np205. Body was rust free with a flatbed. They listed it for $1500. Great deal. When I called the guy said he had "promised" it to a guy who was coming later the next day. I offered cash over asking price and he wouldn't even listen. A school district should be looking to maximize return on taxpayer dollars. I think he held it for a buddy and screwed the public. Not the first craigslist screwing I have had and surely won't be the last. Sure sucks to be the second in line when unobtanium comes up for sale, especially when you are waving a wad of cash. Who else got screwed on CL lately?
