Believe it or not, that 1 foot difference is the difference between me fitting my pickup in my garage and.. not! I have a ext cab long bed, and my garage is 21 ft.

F'in sweet, I'm jealous.

I would love to have a D/A equipped rig (maybe someday). My buddy has an 04 CC longbed D/A equipped, and with the trailer hitch in measures at 22' 4". His garage is 24' deep (outside wall to outside wall) and he just fits in (he can't walk around his truck once it's in).

He tows a 24' camper and says it's 20 times better than his old 90something extracab gasser. He said the power is amazing and it's much steadier going down the road.

By the way, did I mention I was jealous /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Anyway, congratulations.

Does that bring back any memorys Jason /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Here are some specs from Gm's web site:
2500HD Duramax/Alison Crewcab longbed 4x4
HP= 310 @ 3000rpm
TQ= 605 @ 1600rpm
GVWR = 9200
Curb weight = 6049
payload - 3151
Towing:
Trailer weight = 12,000
GCWR = 22,000

I'm getting around 17mpg, just got back from my first road trip to Pismo Beach and back. No I didn't take the diesel out on the dunes. We rented quads this year sence the K5 is getting a heart transplant this year /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif
