So the old man and I have been talking a bit about camaros since we moved down here. Between him, Rene and Zim, I’ve been convinced to take the purple 69 to the drag strip. Probably even found some used slicks to borrow

I splattered 4x TH350s before going to a PowerGlide

We ran glides in 3 cars at once. The only one that was ever damaged had a converter shit itself and ruined it

As for 700/4L trannys? Yeah no. They are literally the laughing stock of the transmission world. If the 700 in this purple camaro dies, it becomes a clutch car

We did run a 200r4 in the purple Camaro while we were running Stock Eliminator. It was built by a guy back east, can’t remember his name. Cost $3500 18 years ago
