wow... so after spending two weekends trying to get my tranny back into my truck with ratchet straps and misc floor jacks with no avail. I decided to go rent a big tranny jack and got the job done in about 30 min. So from now on No more bull crapin, I'll go out and buy or rent the right tool. So for all of you that have the right tools :thumb: props to you

lol I just installed my tranny with rachet straps, then I installed my doubler the same way. I didn't think a tranny jack would go high enough

Don't gloat. Not very admirable.:haha:

I to did it the hard way all by myself. I did have an engine hoist but doin the whole balancing act was rather difficult.

Put another nice star/crack in the windshield though.

The term "the right tools for the right job" does not exist because it is a lie.

the jack i got went up high enough, and still had room to go. I have a 6" lift and 35's and the jack still had about 1 foot or more to go. I took up almost the whole back seat of my car lol... I probably could have done it with ratchet straps it just would have taken me alot longer.
