I've been debating on cutting the top off of my '75 Suburban for awhile now. I've been on vacation all week and decided to do it today. I'm gonna try to do like irishraptor87 did his and put a back wall in it. My kids helped too.

thats AWESOME... and yes cory's (irishraptor) did a great job on his, just take your time fitting the cab! you will have to fill in a lot of space on the bottom but thats the easy part. Also on the roof leave over lapping roof, cory slid his truck cab into the burb, so the roof sat ontop of the pick up cab and he then simply held down the roof and tacked it lil by lil. it was definitly a project but its worth it.

yah, i can throw up pictures on here if you wanna see my spacing, from the top of my seat to the inside of the cab wall, i have like 2 in

i dont have money to do it right now, but in the spring im definitly going to be bobbing it, need a fuel cell and pump and such, i have no regrets about the chop, but the ass end is so long

Are you going to put a soft top on the back or leave it? i think there was a custom sub. in fourwheeler mag a few months ago that had the back chopped off

If I had access to a soft top then I might go that route, but at this time I plan on putting a back wall in it. Unless I can find a good crew cab cab then I'll use the whole cab. I'm going for most weight reduction. :burb:+:hack:=:crewcab:

hi i allready sent you a message with this question , but then found this quick replay thing so i thought you may get this first , could you give me some info on the fuel cell and pump your using ? im bobbing my suburban later this week and need to find a fuel system that will work with my tbi thanks ~TRS~

that message was for irishraptor87 , sorry im new on the forum thing and am still figuring out how to message people
