This is a 79 K20 Full time. Originally purchased for 150. Had some brake issues and cracked heads. The box that was on it when purchased was so roughted that I took the bedsides off by hand, I mean without any tools at all.

All that was fixed, the original b52 as well as the shock mount inboarding kit and shackle flip and switch were developed off of this old bomber. The rear end has been welded. Crossed and high steer.

Dumped the inner fenders and swapped it to non AC. We've also done the headlight relay conversion and removed alot of the non essential BS.

Of course there is a few things to do yet. CB to install compliments of Readymix. Thanks. Aluminum intake, carb and headers and maybe will throw in an old CD player.

Definitely needs some 56's in the rear.

is it just me or is there a really big dent in that razorback cover?

I love that your parts runner is more hardcore than some peoples trail rigs, haha.

It's not just you, I see a big dent in that cover also :eek1:

You'll find that all of the products found on the shop truck are rejects, hence the dent.

35 tsl sx's

Why oh why did I know you of all people would pick that up as a sig. :doah:

Sick rig Kert, your shop truck is better set up than my trail rig.:D

so you've got 3/4 ton welded rear on 35 tsl sx's and a body you don't need to care about without all the foofy **** on most rigs. whips the **** out of what i wheel and prolly most other crap here too.

how much money do you think you've got in it so far?

Yep, alot of the stuff on my trucks I didn't think good enough to send out to somebody. The cover was one of the first few made. It fit on the setup axle fine but didn't clear the little keeper bolts on the carrier bearing caps on another axle. Turns out the gasket surface is milled to a varying depth on the 14BFF. Now the covers are built on the axle requiring more clearance and then more room is allowed.

The old truck does OK. It's got some issues though. Cold blooded as anything I've ever seen. It's got a rattle that just won't quit. I think its a cracked flex plate but haven't had the time (ambition) to get under there and find out.

Need to get back to the herculiner and get that finished. Maybe start on some bumpers this week after hours.

Thanks for the compliments guys. It aint nothing special but its fun to beat on.
