So I just got the phone call this morning. I am the new Manager of a 4 Bay shop. It has 3 lifts, lazer alignment equipment, drill press, sand blasting cabinet, wheel balancer, over head engine lift/ hoist, a brake lathe, and a bunch of other stuff.. It is the auto hobby shop on the Marine Corps base. I dont de service unless a customer needs help, I am free to work on my own vehichles.. I am totally stoked! I will get pics as soon as I can

The hobby shop at Pendleton was a boon to young, thin-walleted Marines, both those that lived on base and also to those that didn't. It was a very cool facility a couple of decades ago, and doubtless even cooler now.

this base is In Barstow CA... so yeah SOCAL. There is a Marine Corps Logistics base here. It only has 120 Marines, But it is also open to the 5000+ civilian workers on base.
My boss said I have free rain to do whatever I want with the place. This means when you guys go out to Calico to wheel and throw some rounds down range, you can come out here a prep/ fix the rigs, maybe ill cool up some grub or something..
