The tank doesn\'t show empty
My fuel sending unit got thrashed due to the baffle in my tank coming loose and now I cannot get it to read right. Has anybody had any luck with one of the universal type units instead of spending big bucks for a factory style? I spend this last Saturday cutting and installing a hinged door above the fuel pump assembly so I can change any of the tank stuff out without having to drop the tank and skidplate, so I figured I might as well finally fix the gas guage.
