I built this from 1/4"x2" square tube...
I also have a 4"x4" wood block I wedge under it for support..

I built something similar to that with a big Wilton vise on it.Instead of that tube comming straight up,I put mine at a bit of an angle to get the vise away from the back of the truck a bit.I built it back when I didnt have a garage or work bench to work on.I wouldnt take it with me on the trail though,its too dam heavy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
