whats the most any member has disasembled and reasembled there entire body? im planning on taking off the whole back half of the truck off. from the striker bolt in the door jamb to the bumper, then cutting out the remaining floor from the passenger hump to the firewall. and of course the front half off. so all that would be left is the a/b pillers roof and fire wall. has anyone gone so extensivly to rebuild there body?

I have done full on cab swaps. basically stripped everything, swap and reinstall everything that was taken out. Other than that, I have replaced a front clip on a 96 taco, and since they are a semi unibody, I had to chop off the front and weld back on a new front clip. Go get a spot weld cutout tool from an autobody supply shop, they will save you alot of frustration, plus you can use the holes as guides to get the new parts aligned correctly. If you follow through with this project it will be your best friend...
