not a happy ending yet..

the springs I recieved are way way to soft, the wheels offset puts the tires right into my arms and the truck needs to be finish welded here and there, add the brakes, missing pieces and such and I am not getting any where.

im off to bed, I feel like ibve been up for3 days/

Didn't mention it still has to go up a few inches. :D

Man I feel like a 63 year old beat mule. Hope ya got some sleep. Probably not gonna get away today, but let me know if ya get in a bind.

Are you going to put more side to side triangluation on the axle track bar mount? For a little comfort I would put some more on the frame mount too. Great work.

PaulC

the track bar mount also goes to the backside of the frame, every thing still needs some final welding

as travis said, I feel beat as well last night I left at 5 am, in the 5 miles to go home I should have been pulled over 50 times, I barley made it in the door, go in the shower at 5:30 and woke up in there still at 7:40 and I was wrinkly!

found the car keys on the porch too. I was fine till I went to leave and the tiredness hit me like a wall..

I got some real good help from travice and another friend so its almost there but there are some serious bugs to work out. also cant decide if I should just go coil over, try some superduty springs or??

holy smokes... you get hot water for a long time :) Around here I'd be woken up by the freezing water after about 15 minutes ;)

Hope you can get some sleep...

lmao.... Bear was probably wondering wth you were doing in there. There was a few times I probably should have been pulled over too. Kept catching myself weaving. Should of seen the look on the mexican girl's face at McDonalds when I came through in my boxers. :eek1: I don't think she knew quite what to think. It was so late, I saw a couple of the old church ladies out already!!

On the springs, just need to check what the rate is on the ones they sent you and go from there. I'm still thinking Aaron's idea of big block bronco lift springs would work.

hmm spring you are on you own but i think the 42's look nice

I love the way the 42's look, but they are bias ply and for the buggy..I 100-200 miles depending on what im working on that day so that would be a bad choice:crazy:

im off to get some hardline for the brake, I might try a non progressive lift coil for a bronco tonight.

So how long before this becomes a tube buggy??:D

Looks great man!!!!!!!

na.. not plan but I am known to change my mind lol

I ended up not being able to use the springs, brake lines are repaired reflared and rerouted

used some million year old yellow mystery lift coils from a ford till I buy some different ones or maybe go coil overs, these coils are alot better though. thinking about the procomp coils for the superduty.

well I just drove it 15 miles to a friends and 17 miles back:what::dunno: dont know where the two miles came from lol

anyways,,rides nice, set the toe on the front, I decided to get some sleep tonight so I will do the motor cage and shock mounts tomorrow night..

It tracks straight down the road and stops straight!! interesting ride with no shocks though lol turning is nice as well.

then its the rear shackle flip, if I dont see my g/f soon I think she will find a new b/f lol:crazy:

slap a grinder in her hands and tell her to have at those rivets on the rear...get ya' a head start for the shackle flip :)
