The "under destruction builds" supersize75k5 's driveway of despair and repair

another good option but $$$ a 38/15.50-17 is $375!

what tire?

im not a fan or the traxxis sp? or the ssr's they just do it do it for me at all, I dont really want a poser tire I guess and that what all the kids around here slap on there trucks.

they have some bitching military tires in the size I want but they take a 20 inch rim..Im not a fan of the blingity bling bling..

I might just suck it up and get the iroks and just try to smile when I have to replace the tires on a yearly basis.. if anything when they are getting worn I can run them on the buggy, just wheel em hard or burn em off with the big block:thumb:

SSR's...

How many miles do you normally run per year? I just can't imagine wearing out a radial Irok (especially in the height we're talking about) in a year...

i bought the truck in 0ct 06, in oct o7 I had clocked 23,xxx

that includes 4-5 weeks of vacation as well as a couple weeks I was not driving it while doing upgrades:crazy:

those suckers are crazy soft. i think i read somewhere of people only getting about 15k out of them.

Yeah I guess its all relative for how many miles you run each year... to me 15k-20k sounds pretty good for a soft, agressive tread but at the same time I do nowhere near the driving he does...

23k+ a year is a heck of a lot of driving! If I was doin' that much I'd be in a diesel jetta ;)

daynumm.. i got 31 k mile on the clock so far, thats only 1 year. 4 more yr left of payment and im at 95 k miles now.. no wonder im tradin her in next yr Oct. ofc thats when i pay 1 k a month soon, so the next truck payment wont be high. thats included abt the same amount of vacation plus when i was laid off! and my job is only 7 miles from here.

I shutter to think how fast Swampers would wear out with me. I cant get more then 30 out of any tire...and thats on my S10 Blazer

Shawn...I knew it was gonna happen...I just saw this post the other day. Truck looks good man!

The Sad thing is it a new truck

Your gonna need a Tow rig pretty Quick:D

And after that, it won't be long till he needs a tow rig for his tow rig for his tow rig :rotfl:

Nice work man, that's how they should come from the factory!

Well I still not have decided on tires yet, its a bummer cause I really want to a run a 40 inch mtr but they dont offer it with any good load ratings:(

if i cant figure it out soon I may lower the truck back down and just get some 35-37 inch bfgs

also I m not happy with the front springs or the spring buckets, the spring buckets were designed around tj springs and I was not aware of it till afterwards, the springs, that ride great btw are a progressive rate spring and bow in the middle between the two spring rates. I hate it because it makes the spring bucket rubbing even worse. im going to choose a ride hight and weld on a perm. spring mount, or I may spring for coil overs.

truck is seeing dirt tonight..going the the desert:eek1::whistle::shame::1zhelp:

we'll find out if this rear shaft is up to the task or not..:yikes:
