What are your plans for your buggy since you are parting out your cracked front axle housing. Are you going to get a fab housing or find another 60.

Edit, I don't know how you did it, but the focus on your picture makes your truck looks like a R/C car.

I scaled down, rc cars are much cheaper. .. lol..jk



The buggy is still a go, I managed to crack the center section itself on the buggy and the tubes are ****ed so..:doah:

I have my eye on the rock jock center section, the buggy is also a LP 60 so that would be nice to go high pinion and get it away from the rocks. I already have the passenger drop atlas so its the best way to convert to high pinion and get the added beef. For the knuckles I want to go to the crane keyed knuckles, so using the reid Knuckles on the truck forces my hand to make that call:pimp:


I am anxious to start on the buggy, but im having to much fun with the truck right now to really care too much so ill start stacking up parts in the mean time. I can say the buggy will get its ass kicked far worse bing I wont have to worry about that pesky sheet metal stuff:popcorn:


I just got off the phone with my tranny builder, he says this trans should hold a 300 shot , he only recommended some billet parts for upgrades.. interesting...
 
Kind of bummed, vid only shows the last jump and is really crappy quality, bummer.


Some other people got it on video too but I have not heard anything back on them yet.

Finally was some thick sticky mud, bummer is it stayed on my truck...no idea how the hell I was driving now that I see how dirty my windshield was:eek1:

I keep my attitude pretty positive about it all:thumb:

Truck got all cleaned up yesterday, found out the steering cap blew out again and the battery mount finally failed and it took the computer mount with it rambo style.. so no wheeling.

Going to drop the box off to get tapped and hopefully that ends my headaches there.


so current headaches... possible solutions

battery mount : maybe move to rear, or mount to the frame or the shock hoop in the front
steering box : tap box... 3 failed caps is annoying by now
Knuckle : Reid racing knuckles, going it take a hard look at the axle c's too while im at it
computer mount : out of ideas but ill figure it out.

Radiator also is bent very bad in the middle, no idea why its still hanging on. I am considering moving it to the rear but what would I do about the ac condenser? custom lines, leave it up front with a small fan? Also not sure im ready to go crazy with the truck like that.


Off to go work and drop

With all the upgrades and breakage, wouldnt you be time and money ahead if you just bought a used desert truck and put some lights on it?!
 
Thats half the dang fun, break upgrade....break, upgrade. break, upgrade...

you get the picture. its a vicious cycle.

Not sure, running into some serious schedule issues now though in the next month so... hope something works out.

Ill run it if I go but I sure wont be winning lol, if its more advanced they may/should have classes I would assume though.


Otherwise Ill go to ET again.
