The one here is really not that bad, I have bought some small things, had my gears done and picked up tires from them before. The guys actually wheel and know what parts are and you can have a technical discussion about most things with them.

We have a shop here desert rat used to be great... now seems not so much. I wanted 35 spline hubs and friends have bought them there... I ask the guy on the phone for them and he asked me what application:doah:

WTF in this economy you cant find a 4x4 nut with out a job:dunno: Instead they hire idiots and piss customers away.

I also was told the bfg km2 was not released yet just a couple months back when I was getting pricing..I told the kid to look out the window at the jeep that had them on it and walked out.

whoops! Glad I brought my nitrogen tank and my jack..

Had a great time at the mud bog, had a couple minor issues:whistle:

1. trans line popped out an put fluid all over my exhaust... lucky it did not flare up.:eek1:.... lesson learned.. no more 2 am trans line clip installs in the dark. Fixed it, topped her off and back to the fun.

2. Was doing some jumps on the doubles and the rear shackle hanger finally gave out, this has been on my list of things to fix for a long time.. looks like it finally moved up on that list.. Other then some serious rear steer the truck acted pretty normal and the spring just rested on the bed floor, eh... no biggie:pimp:

3.. while pulling out a dodge cummins, my strap broke and came back to leave a nice mark on the truck, bend the front of the hood and took out the grill:doah: I think that is grill number 7 or some ridiculous number.

Mud was pretty easy compared to the last few times, I showed up late as I was waiting for my friend Cassy to ride out with me.. so I made my entrance by driving the 06... and the trailer with the 07 on it into the left lane :haha: Hit it with authority from a good ways back and made it a good ways then had to yank it out with the 07. What a mess, but made for some good times:D Need some better tires on the 06 after its frame swap and ill give her another go.

Here is my official Peopleofwalmart.com entry:haha:

maybe.. just started talking with trail master about their long travel coil over hd suspension...

The tires I really want are the new Generals, but the largest dot tire they have is a 35, I may want to go with a 37, but I also dont want to regear so staying with my current tire size "315" may be best.

But still gearing up for a sas:D

why not just link the rear too?/

I spent a pretty penny on the Deavers, they are reliable, ride great and have a ton of travel. Hell I continued on even after breaking the spring hanger.. pretty sure if anything failed on a link suspension Id be hosed.

I like them for the same reason I love the radius arm front.. its like a set it and forget it set up with how I just like to hammer on things, I have better things to fix like transmissions:D

so why no beadlocks?

The 44's were put on with the intention of only using them for the mud bogs, not sure if I will bother bead locking them as I run high pressure in the mud anyways.

I am wanting to go back down to a 40-42 and lower the truck.. kind of feel like that may not get to happen with how much fun I am having though:D If it can stay reliable with the front chromo shafts and drivelines I don't see a reason not to just add bead locks and stay on these I guess.

One more vid, have a few more but they are a pain to load and I have been stupid busy.

I am planning on taking the truck out to Florance for this weekend to do some wheeling but this torque converter is driving me nuts. I was short on time to get the truck ready and stabbed a stock converter I had just to get it done for this last saturday, I had called Road runner who builds them but he said no way for the time frame I had:(

So my options are to put up with it, pull it out and change it before friday.. or wait till I kill the trans lol.

The transmission is stock this time due to time constraints, I wanted to get a th-400 in there but between having to rework the lines, harness, tune and trans mount I just did not have the time sadly. Not sure if I am going to have the 4l80 I just yanked built or just down the truck and get the 400 swap over with sometime soon. One of my reasons for wanting the 400 was my wiring harness and plugs were shot but the new harness solved that issue.

AHHH how fun it is.
