06 is kicking my ass with deathwobble so finally going to do a panhard.

Well I was on my way to Jasons to drop off my atlas 4 speed to get the input swapped out to a 32 spline since I upgraded the trans for the buggy to a th400..





Made it with in an 1/8 mile of his house and she quite on me:doah: So... tomorrow it looks like ill be taking the day off or most of it and taking to truck to my trans guy if he can pull off a 1 day miracle. If not I might just get a dealer unit as there is a better chance they have one in stock and I wont have my work truck down $$$

So currently both the 06.. and the 07 have dead 4l80e's and I am relying on a half ton dodge to pick up the slack! ahh!

This afternoon I finally found the jeep keys I have been looking for, damn keys were mia for over a week and turned out to be in a pair of pants I ripped real bad last time I worked on it:doah:

Got the front axle out, tomorrow in between my transmission fiasco ill drop off the d-shaft to get a new tube, and drop the new and old axle housing off to get the gears swapped.

hard to see but the shanks are bent on the rod ends, some worse than others, the brackets bent, the jks swaybar is ripped to hell, the link mounts are junk and the c as well as the axle tube is trashed..oh and the tie rod! More than I planned to have to deal with but thats how it goes. I have to order more rod ends as well as a new upper link.. the bronco stamped is in two weeks.. I showed up with a jeep last time too.. so that is my plan to have it done by then!


The rubi axle was so bent and I had to cut part of the "c" off to get the shaft out!

The trans in the 07 is out.. ok thats expected...

The trans in the 06 went out.. well 192k.. thats expected...

tonight the trans in the dodge started taking a crap.. ok that pisses me off!


3 out of 3 have a bad trans:mad: I am going to loose my mind.

so..

ordered a low stall, clutch kit and rebuild kit for the 06. Converter being low stall should make towing a bit nicer. I pray its done monday as I have a customer first thing tuesday:doah:

picking up a hughes th400 monday as well for the 07. Reverse manual valvebody, transbrake. Need to figure out if I am going to do an ultra bell and may do a new gear set for first:pimp: No idea on the converter but ill figure it out and get that ordered this week.

Dodge ram.. fml.. stock unit going in it then I am selling it and going to toss some money on top and find me a v6 99-06 chevy/gmc with a manual.


I was debating finding a wrecked d-max now that the trans is out in the 06, but without a back up truck that option is less appealing.

Dang! Bum deal! Thanks for keeping us updated on stuff an how man! Give it a couple weeks and you will be back up and running on all three!
 
Been busy and sidetracked but... time to get some crap done.

Picked up the th400 for the 07, yay:D


My trans guy disappeared off the face of the earth, im not sure if he is having medical issues again or if he heard I had three bad transmissions at once:confused:


So.. its now wed.. and the truck is still dead in the street, I have decided to just push/ram the truck in the driveway with the dodge today and pull it out and try not to grumble about it the whole time:popcorn:


Zero motivation but I finally have a afternoon with no work todo so... time to get the party started.

Well trans is out and loaded up, mess is cleaned up,,,now I have a converter, parts and no trans guy :(


I have a date tonight so throwing in the towel now I just need to spend an hour trying to get my hands clean:doah:

I am trying taih "sp" food.. yuck! Pray for me!

Their stuff is good. More cooked, spicy, and tasty than a lot of the more common stuff you can find here.

She is actually a nice gal so ill give her the benefit of the doubt.


The taih was actually not bad, she went for mild and it had chicken in it actually tasty!

The bummer is my stomach had a hell of a time.. I was actually pretty uncomfortable but im not sure if it was the taih or something else I ate as the bowel time bomb starting clicking pretty quick.:yikes:


Managed to avoid having to use her restroom and had a good night though:thumb: I do remember sitting there just feeling as if I was going to pass gas and if so that stuff would come out with it if I did:eek1: She had some pepto so I think that saved me.

moved her in.. bought a ring.. went from seeing her 1 day a week to seeing her everyday.. I decided to sleep on my couch instead after not too long..then boxed her up and moved her out. Thank god I never gave her the ring.

This time I am not going to be a lonely sack of emotional **** over it and I am trying to grow from it and move on. Maybe this time ill date a girl more independent and that might actually support my interest or tag along at the least.
