The "under destruction builds" supersize75k5 's driveway of despair and repair

Also the lexan hood from Trent fab came in, so should be trimming that up and mounting it this weekend, then paint time!

I was in their shop this week. Looks like they've got some pretty bad-a projects and ($$$$) lined up in there!

stripped her down and added some color! Going to get the interior panels od to powder coat and get ready to paint the hood, grill and sides, ya!

Going to mount them up on the ugly buggy for KOH, hell ya:pimp:

What seals the outer threads on those crane adjusters? A liquid thread sealer? Is that pipe thread sealer? I guess it would have to stay soft long enough to adjust the backlash for the final time.

14 bolt front looks killer! You might have said, but what arms are you running? I thought you said artec but cant remember now..:dunno:

id assume so, i have not installed them yet or read the instructions so ill post up after.

York,

Yes, Artec arms with their double sheer set up using a long bolt and DOM tube between the stock tie rod hole on the Solid knuckle and then drilling out the blank arm. The tie rods from the clevis to the knuckle will be aluminum.

And I am now an old man:haha:

Went and got a camper to stay dry and warm at KOH

any tips on a space heater, maybe an inverter and blanket or:dunno:

I used to always camp in the mountains with an air mattress under a topper shell. I picked up some cots this year and see how that works under the topper.

I looked at these and ended up not going with an air mattress, I hope I don't regret that. I didn't like that my shoes would be on that mattress when I take them off an toss them in the corner.

I made a raised platform that hinges at the top with 2x6 boards and plywood with 2 piano hinges covered with indoor/outdoor carpet. This also gives me a nice area to place my shoes after I crawl in. Bought a nice 3 inch memory foam top to work for padding .

What did you have to pay for the memory foam you just bought...I just got one from costco for a king size bed, it was 2and 1/2 inches thick for about 120.00.

it was right at 130 iirc, just bought it through one of my customers that is a bed store not sure if i got a deal or not but the convienient factor was there.

so far im spending a lot of money to bring a girl along rather than my usual sleeping in the cab, she seems worth it though :)

Worth it. Those toppers rock.

Only thing better is the Tempurpedic Bed.
