I came across this on a other website and after taking it through a inspection and a little bit of wheeling and dealing I bought my wife this 98 Tahoe.
It has a 99 Escalade front clip and 17" wheels. I doubt it will be taken off road by her, I on the other hand:rolleyes: might have to sneak it out at least once.

I tried to 'wheel my wife's 2wd Envoy about 6 months ago. She's still scared to let me drive it alone! She said "that's what your Blazer is for" I replied " But honey, I wasn't in my Blazer, and I wanted to get to the other side of the wash!". No major damage, just a stick through the tire and a bent running board. 5 minutes of winching with the Blazer, and it was out!:D

thats a very clean tahoe. i do love the escalade front on the 2doors. if only it had a 6.5 in it :) its basically a high-class K5:bow:

swap that d60/70 combo out of ur rig when u go with the 404's! now that would be nasty!

how much did that baby set you back?

Yah the 60/70 would make it even better in my books:D
As for the price.... I lucked out, the guy i bought it from was really herting for $$$, and I went in low balling him (If I was the seller I would have told me to f**k off) and walked away paying $6700 cdn. for it:woot:

I forgot to mention.
It came with a cold air intake and a flowmaster exhaust. The wife loves the sound of the exhaust (I new there was a little Red neck girl in her:waytogo:). Every time she leaves the house thats all I hear:D
Lucky for her, I supply/ I mean, my company supplys the fuel for her Tahoe.

thats awesome, wish i could find a 2dr around here, that was my first choice. but i had to "settle" for a k5. im glad i did :) although i woulda built the tahoe almost the same way.
