Well, maybey it just stole a day of Christmas shopping :D

Here's how I spent 10 hours of my day with my K5 and some things from our friends at Warn.

First, off with the old. Man do I love 16 year old bumper bolts!

Next is minus the bumper, with all the factory brackets still attached.

All brackets off, ready for the bumper!

Bumper mounted and ready for the winch.

Tada! Warn 9000 lb winch and some utility lights join the show.

Tomorrow I'll be installing the new winch battery and assorted electrical work. By the way, anybody need a straight stock bumper:wink1:

That is bad ass!!! Where did you buy that bumper?? And how much??!!

This will probably kill you - the bumper is a Warn Classic series that was designed for the old school 8274. I had to do some drilling and modify two brackets -but it cost me $100 and some polishing compound to clean it up:D

Got the winch on sale for $540 so with the oddball hardware and such total cost was $700 with the lights!

Now I won't get stuck for a month:haha:

But where did you obtain that bumper? Is that something that Warn USE to sell? I can't find anything like that on their site!
