So for whatever reason my K5 won’t fit in the garage. I’m not sure if it was the angle of the driveway on our old home and this driveway being flat.... Either way my truck has to be parked outside or I switch to 35" tires down the road that should, I think give me the clearance I need.

Garage height is the same as my previous home or my wife just freaked out as I pulled close and just said the truck is to high. Anyway.....

So I’m thinking just removing the battery when it’s parked for now. I can park in the driveway and just park one of my other vehicles behind it. But I have a gravel area next to the drive way that can work unless the HOA balks at that idea. I did see others around here with boats etc parked in the same spot.

I assume a kill switch can be installed but until I can do that.... any suggestions?

Can I let air out of the tires?

6-8 psi

if you have a FF rear, drive it in on the drums. It’s better than running the tire that low

Put a Mohave Green in the driver's seat:rotfl:. Air down, have the wife pull it in and you watch.

Instead of airing down you could temporarily compress each corner of the suspension with a ratchet strap. And if you don’t trust your straps use a chain to keep it compressed while diving in. Or you could also use a winch to compress it. Many options to make it fit inside.

Well, from the suggestions, it appears just removing the battery would do little good?

Hopefully one night out won’t bite me. I’ll mess with tire pressure tomorrow. I’m beat as can be. One man move of a 5 person household can wear ya out...

Kids bickering, wife bitching... Just step aside and let me get it done. Hahahaha

I air mine down to 5psi and drive it in and air it back up to 20ish.

Thanks... I may mess with that later. Down to 8 back up to 20 in the garage. I measured the doors and they are the same height, 82 1/2 inches.

So I have like 1 inch clearance.
My wife may have just freaked out but either way.
I’d hate to park on the street. If someone is cruising to steal, compared to my neighbors, mines the one to steal.
Hahahahahah

Dang you made it easy to steel too, Push Button start, battery + to distributor and it's off to the races. Idk about the rest of you, but I always have a jumper wire with @ktmoutfront patented alligator clips on each end in my pocket.:D

set p brake, put that bad boys t case in neutral, most folks never think t case in neutral. Chain the steering wheel to the brake Pedal. They will move on or they were gonna get it no mater what, probably a flat bed tow. Block with other car.

Kind of a pain in the ass, but you could pull your driveshafts.

in the end, if someone wants it bad enough, they're gonna get it either way. but might keep the punks away that are looking for the right opportunity. also, pull your mufflers. no better alarm than a small block with open headers....LOL!
