There any good rear seat covers anymore?

I have a bed sheet over the rear seat and it just isn't cutting it. If the wind doesn't pull it off the girls manage to get it off just moving around.

I remember a friend of mine having a K5 with a fitted seat cover in the rear back in the mid 90's and I got the feeling it was old then.

Any of these things still made? Are our trucks too old for the cover makers? Any good generic covers? I have generic covers on the fronts and they work fine if a bit baggy.

I have had the same question for a while now, I just have not bothered to ask. I wonder how expensive it would be to have it recovered?

I am not aware of any currently on the market outside of custom made like ZukiJohn posted.

I know I looked at a local company to make mine, and it was going to be around $100 for the rear seat, unless I went with a stout material that would hold up to the abuse you are looking at. If I wanted something like that, it would have easily approached the $200 mark for just the rear seat.

Really I just want something a bit more water proof and that will actually stay on the seat. They don't really beat on it...just move around.

Have you checked the chain auto stores? I would get a cheap bench seat cover, and staple/modify to fit better.

Yeah, probably my best option.

I could probably even get a camo one that matches my fronts and reinforce the "hunting truck" stereotype going on now.

NICE. I had a set of $20 costco neoprene ones for the last 5 + years for my fronts that need to be replaced! Thanks!

I prefer the saddle blanket style. They will stain, but they are durable and usually can be picked up at any auto parts store. They take a real beating and the one in my Bronco lasted forever. I ended up matching the front seats with the same type and they were great. You can even pull them out and wash them. I wanted to go neoprene but a buddy had them and kept ripping them with keys and other tools.

Thats what i had in mind for AJM.

I got mine at NAPA. made of cordura, the guy came out and measured my seat and they came in about 2 weeks later. was 100 bucks for my rear bench in my '73. don't remember the brand. I can find out if you really want to know.

I still say go with Marathon SuperHides...... Ask them for sample patches they'll send you some free....

I've got 4 labs and go duck/bird hunting they hold up under everything my dogs and I can throw at them....and still not one tear or rip and you can take them out to wash them.....:) They get my aproovel....

Bit rich for my budget unfortunately. $30 or so I can swing...beyond that I have more important things to spend the money on.

I have the Cabela's seat cover and it sheds water nicely. Durable, as I abuse with loading sheetrock, plywood, runs to the dump, etc. Haven't had much or any UV fade...at least noticeable anyways.

Good hunting
