There was a little snow left, but not much.

Pathetic year for snow. Hardly any. There should be 3-5 feet this time of year, but a foot in some areas and melting fast was about as deep as it got.

Here are a few pictures from a short trip up the road Saturday with Andy's '77 Chevy, Nathan's Trooper he's trying to sell next week, and my '83 K30 Diesel cause it's the only runner right now (I need to stop off-roading it).

It was that wet heavy type of snow. Lots of soft mud underneath it to. This time of year the ground should be frozen, but it's like the spring thaw usually is in March and April, with water running everywhere and some pretty deep mud in areas under the snow.

Andy's truck is a '77 Chevy body and 1/2 ton 4x4 frame, with running gear swapped in from an '87 K30... 454 with a Quadrajet on it, 32-spline SM465/205, 14-bolt Full-Floater rear with Detroit, Dana 60 front, 4" suspension lift, trimmed fenders and 37" Boggers on 16" rims.

He started out with a complete '87 K30, but the frame cracked at the steering box badly, so he swapped it all onto the '77.

Thanks for the info. It looks like a well built rig!
