Noticed a slight coolant leak out of my sub today after a short run. Had a small drip coming out of top radiator hose at the radiator, checked it out top hose was super hard with engine off. Could this be a sticking thremo stat or what? Last couple of days it is like it would get about half way on the needle movement then open up to rest a bit under the half mark.

Sorry man, sounds more like you have a blown head gasket. when the engine is hot (190 on the temp) look into the over flow tank and check for bubbles while the engine is at idle.
Keep in mind, some bubbles are ok if you have had the system open. Changing the hose, thermo etc.
