Thermostatic switch for electric fans?

Here's the circuit I drew. I haven't tested it yet. If anyone builds it let me know how it works.

Mofugly13, the transmitter is a little too complicated for me. I'm sure you could find plenty of similar circuits already designed if you did a little searching. If you find one let us know.

So does anyone have a part number or model of car to get an OE style fan switch? Something thaqt threads into the head or intake?
I would rather have a common part that I can pick up at napa.
I already have the 2 Iroc fans wired up to a relay and an ajustable fan control but I don't like it or the fact it has a probe in my radiator that could fall out.

A late 80's/early 90's camaro with dual fans will have the secondary fan switch (on at 240*IIRC) while the primary side on those cars was handled by the ECM. I'd look at the Grand National applications and see what their on/off temp is.
Your Napa should have an "Echlin" catalog with all of their electrical fan switches in it. They tell you how they are wired, thread pitch, and on/off temps. Ask them to let you look at it, find one that you like the temps of, and go with it.
