So after my recent trip to South Dakota, I really want a smaller rig, not wheelbase or tire size smaller just narrower.
Any one ever narrowed a cab before. I want to retain that classic chevy look but I also want to go one step closer to a buggy. In addition to narrowing the cab I will probably cut alot of it off and weld the bedsides back on to the truck. I would like to make seating for four.
The more and more I think about this idea the more I like it. If I was 10 or 12 inches narrower it would make it lots easier.
The only reason I want to do this is because I don't really like buggys, I respect them but don't really like the way they look. If I built a buggy it would end up being small. I want to be able to seat 4 and have room for junk.
Hope to get coil springs front and rear by the end of this year too. That will help a ton, gonna shave the axles within an a millimeter of their lives.
Full hydro after I get the coils in the front. Maybe I should just build a buggy

It's just not something for me is all

I have no tips or tricks to doing it, but someday I want to do it to a suburban and have a narrowed 4-seater fullsize
