Think 37's Will Fit A 1st Gen?

I have no doubt that you will make them fit.

I thought it was pretty funny, just went over and jambed a fender on it and there it sat.

Those are the wheels/tires I'll be running on the current blazer build.

Laid this one on the rear tire, it's in a small ditch btw.

Still trying to decide between a 6" Alcan lift or going with the B52 kit and running the 52/56 inch springs.

I like the Alcans I have on the blue blazer but it sees mainly off road, how are you liking your set?

I contemplated the B52 kit for a while. But after reading a lot of the posts from here on guys who had done it, I was worried about where the axle would end up. It seemed like the axle would get moved forward quite a bit. Mind you, none of them were on a 1st gen. For a street cruiser, I'd almost be concerned about a 52/56 combo being too soft...at least w/o sway bars.

The Alcans are great. When I had them built, I told them that the truck would be on the street 80-85% of the time. The truck has great manners on the road. The front doesn't soak up the big bumps as much as I expected...speed bumps @ 20mph are still a bit of a jolt...but I still have the cheesey dual shock setup that the PO put on. Tomorrow's project is Bilsteins and shock towers on the front. I'm anxious to see how it changes the ride. The rears are really nice...the shackle flip, 2" Alcans, and Bilsteins are smoooooth.

37's fit ez'ly. No cutting at all. did take 11" of lift though. :D

Heres a list all all the different size that can fit http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2180334/3
