think i am about to lose my clutch

Well, it comes out just about all the way before it goes. was not like that before. if its on the way out what should i put in? thanks

Any shudder or slip? I don't remember if an 86 had mechanical or hydraulic linkage, but you may want to check adjustment.

No slip. its was doing some wierd stuff about three hours ago. its a hydro clutch.

Check the adjustment first. I have had my adjuster nut come loose before and cause a similar issue (mine's mechanical, but the problem would be the same).

It could be the clutch or throwout bearing going out though, too.

hydro setups cant take a 3 finger style i found this out the hard way.

I got mine from a local shop that is priced the same as Jegs. I think it was ~$300 for everything.

I replaced the input seal on the transmission so that it wouldn't leak and ruin the clutch.
