There are axle seals in the differential housing. It sounds like one is blown. The R&R procedure requires removing the axle, pulling the gear carrier, driving out the old seal, and putting in the new seal. This is a good time to do both seals, bearings, etc. You don't need to remove the knuckles unless you want to replace your ball joints.

i'll second that :thumb:

About $500 if you totaly go through it and replace al lthe seals (including at the wheels) ball joints and tie rods. Thats parts. The seals that are leaking are about $20 BUT you have to take all the other stuff apart to get to them. Might as well get it ready for the next 150,000 miles.

Labor I have no idea.

man that really sucks.....I got alot of other stuff that I need to be doing but this is going to have to come first I guess.....thanks again guys for all the help

Yeah my drivers side started leaking after my last wheeling trip. I need to take care of it but I'm saving for 4.88's And I'll take care of it then.
