So a buddy drops me a voicemail and says he is at the local town auction, and there is a set of 1 tons there. He doesn't know sh!t about them (he is a Toyota guy) and asked what they look like, he said they had the 4 bolts for the kingpins. So, asked what gears where in em, and couldn't find a tag. Well, go up to $300 on them. Anyways, got them for $175 along with some scrap, Sterling rear with no pinion. Got them to my storage, scraped the mud off the BOM, 610201-1. Rear has the Detroit, and being they are military, 4.56s. Couldn't get too lucky and have the T/L up front. But not gonna complain either way. Thinking these are going in a 95 SAS I'm picking up maybe next weekend....

Yep, you got screwed alright. Give me your addy info and I'll come take them off your hands. I'll pay you $200 just so you're making some money.

My storage is getting tight, and that Sterling rear is friggin' heavy. Want to tear them apart see if there is any damage. Might be able to break even scrapping that rear.....

They sold the axles as a lot. Had the military axles then the Sterling rear. Get them all or don't get any of them. I could have left it there, but got thinking it's good for scrap, load it up on the trailer with some other stuff...

Yeah I can see where I screwed up the wording on that.....Got a 60 front, 14 rear w/Detroit, both with 4.56s. Got a Sterling rear with no pinion. All this was one lot, take it or leave it.....
