The bumper should be as wide as the tires outside width. That would prolly vary from state to state and all. I know it wouldn't be legal here though. I wish it would be legal here...I'd do it for sure!

boy I live in NJ and didnt think about doing that to make my truck legal!!!!! I like it.... but I will stay at my height... the only thing I have to do cuz NJ sucks @$ is Furds are allowed 35" to the bottom of the door and chevy is allowed 33".... damn shame I am at 34 3/4" so I am going to have my front 14" leafs changed to 10" and that will drop the door down.....
