He tells me it runs great, and would have no problem taking me back home (4hrs from the truck). Gonna call him tonite and get everything

That truck without the motor in florida is worth 3-4k. Who cares what hurdles you have, that is a tow rig from hell and pretty hard to come across

Well I would if it wasn't half way across the country. I have looked at the same truck in this area for the same money, except it didn't run, was rotted out, had been sitting for years, no power options and the guy wanted to keep the bed. He sold it for $1500.
