I use a Nv4500 manual 5spd ,my stock 32 spline Np205 .I make my own mounts, engine crossmembers. There is no need to beef up the frame.HillJackCustoms said:i was just curious on what tranny and t-case along with the motor mounts and the beefing up of the frame. just curious on the stuff you would have done different
ShortBedCrew said:Hey CrewCab59, Im doing the same thing. I have a 1981 Chevy 1 ton crew cab that I made into a shortbed. The problem I am having is deciding the best way to go with this swap. I have the COMPLETE 81 crewcab with :turbo 400, 205 t-case, dana 60F and C14 R. I also have the COMPLETE RUNNING 1995 dodge 2500 with :12V cummins, NV4500 tranny, 241 (i think) t-case, dana 60 F and dana 70 or 80 rear. I would like to bolt my chevys 205 to the dodges NV4500. With my racetrack 8 bolt pattern on my 205, how can I mate it with the round 6 bolt pattern of the NV4500? Any help would be greatly appreciated, im new to all this as well as new to this site. Thanks in advance
