Hey guys thinking about selling my toy (85 1500 suburban 454/700r4/208) for funding on my dd (86 v3500 crewcab dually) I've got some things that the dd needs and that I want and I just can't afford to build both trucks at this time.
As much as I would hate to get rid of the burb (especially for as much as I kicked myself after getting rid of my first square 90 1500 burb) I can't help but look at the burb that has been sitting needing repairs undriven for the past year and think that the money would be real handy to get the dually a lot closer to where I want it.
Thoughts? Intrest in the burb? I'm in Gillette Wyoming if anyone is interested.

I understand the funding dilemma but I'm pretty sure you will start looking for another Burb within a week of selling it. I don't know about your area but around here they are becoming quite scarce and priced accordingly.

I can't help but think you are right mabey I'm just being too impatient, I just hate when I get the feeling that a project is going no where

Don't feel bad,my '85 Burb has sat since the day I got it in November 2009,and is now starting to rot holes in the once mint rockers and other areas...selling it now wouldn't get me much $$$,so I may as well keep it...if I do sell it I'll be wishing I had it again, even if just for the parts, there isn't many 6.2's around here left,or square body trucks period..

I just can't make myself get rid of it I've gotta keep the burb gotta have something to pull behind the Classic Hauler I've got too many plans for the Big Bourbon. Holding out for the 1tons and 37s. Can't believe my self in a weak moment thinking of getting rid of the old girl.....smh

Keep it! I've regretted selling my 1975 4x4 Suburban from the moment I handed over the title. That was four years ago.

Keep it man! My wife is always on me to get rid of Toad but I'm not budging. I sold a 1990 Blazer that I still miss 14 years later. I told Debb that I'd sell both of our kids and my parents before I'll sell the truck.
