Actually, I've been thinking about it for a little while. I want to find a later model to bolt up to my 208 t-case, and that has the hydraulic linkage. I know I will need all the pedals, and stuff. My brother knows where a K5 is with a bad engine and a 465. He's gonna see if the guy wants to sell the whole thing. If this deal goes through, I should have a Blazer to par out. :D How much trouble is it to perform this swap? I know it will be easier if I can get a complete truck, and just use what I need. I'm tired of messing with my slush box. I'm just looking for opinions/tips/insight from people who have done this swap before. Thanks.

I've done the swap twice...it's not very hard at all. But I've also rebuilt the one truck from the ground up, so maybe my idea of hard is differnt from yours. I'm guessing you've read the tech article on this too.

The hardest part is bleeding the clutch. Or finding all the parts...Like the correct pedal.

Napa is the only place that sells a factory clutch hose also....
